There are countless GPS gadgets being sold in the market these days and TomTom GPS devices are among the most loved. TomTom just released 2 spanking new GPS piece of kits - the TomTom XXL 540S and the TomTom XXL 530S.
These new navigators feature big 5-inch displays and are in effect gigantic replicas of their predecessors with similar designs and user interface. However, for their big size, these piece of kits are very handy at only 7 ounces.
In spite of the fact that the TomTom XXL 540S has added Mexico maps included and costs a bit more, the features of both the TomTom XXL 530S and 540S are basically identical. They include traits such as text-to-speech technology, IQ Routes and EasyPort.
On the other hand, the TomTom XL 340S Live owns a smaller 4.3-inch touchscreen and ‘Live’ function. It comes packed with a built-in receiver and offers Advanced Lane Guidance, IQ Routes, text-to-speech and EasyPort, exactly like its fellow counterparts. In spite of the fact that its abilities may seem less than adequate for its cost, this GPS navigator’s real value is in its ‘Live’ trait.
